Bio

I am a self-taught web developer with a passion for programming, specializing in PHP, Laravel, and JavaScript. While I've never worked for a company formally, I've spent the past several years honing my skills through freelance work and self-driven projects. I got into software development because of a genuine curiosity for how things work at a low level, and this curiosity has evolved into a focused pursuit of becoming a proficient engineer.

A few years ago, I discovered Laravel and was initially overwhelmed by the complexity behind it. I was determined to grasp its inner workings, I dedicated many hours to studying the documentation and exploring the actual code. Through this deep dive, I came to understand the fundamental flow of Laravel, from bootstrapping and the container to the registration of singletons and dependencies, and how this processes through middleware, model binding, and controller actions. This journey not only clarified how Laravel operates but also allowed me to appreciate the programming principles it encourages, which I now find invaluable in my development practices.

I've gained significant experience in building full-stack applications, particularly with Laravel on the back-end and React for front-end development. One of my most rewarding projects was the development of a browser-based NFT and cryptocurrency play-to-win game, where I built the entire web application and API that went into production and helped generate revenue.

Over the years, I've worked on various projects, from real estate CMS platforms to hotel management systems and even small desktop apps in Java. Though some projects didn't reach production, they provided valuable lessons in code structure, maintainability, and best practices. I take pride in building systems that are not just functional but also well-architected for future growth.

In addition to my web development work, I have spent many hours researching and working with Linux virtual private servers to host my websites. This includes installing and configuring web servers, email servers, game servers, and conducting extensive research on network and local security. I've focused on hardening the kernel, configuring programs properly, and solving many problems that arise both during development and in production environments. Arch Linux is my daily driver, reflecting my commitment to using and mastering cutting-edge technologies.

I hold recent certifications as both an ITC technician and a web application developer, and I continually push myself to learn more. My approach to development is detail-oriented—I believe in taking the time to do things right, making code readable and maintainable from the start.

What drives me is the constant need to learn and improve, to fill in knowledge gaps, and to tackle new challenges head-on. I enjoy the process of building something meaningful and well-designed, both in terms of user experience and code quality. Ultimately, I aspire to contribute to projects that are impactful and well-executed, following the principles of good programming practices that I’ve embraced over time.
