One thing I’ve shipped with AI is using it as part of my development workflow to modernize and deliver client applications faster.

A good example was taking an existing business process that relied heavily on manual work and building a web application around it. I used AI throughout the development process to help analyze requirements, explore implementation approaches, generate and refactor code, troubleshoot issues, and accelerate repetitive development tasks.

What made the experience valuable was learning where AI actually helps and where engineering judgment still matters. AI could quickly suggest solutions or generate a starting point, but I still had to understand the business requirements, design the architecture, validate the output, handle edge cases, and make sure the final application was maintainable and reliable.

The result was not an “AI app,” but a real production application shipped for a client with AI helping me shorten the path from an idea to working software. That experience changed how I approach development: I now treat AI as another engineering tool—similar to a framework or IDE—that can significantly increase productivity when paired with good technical judgment.
