How I Work
I care about simplicity, reliability and writing code that lasts. I don't chase trends, but I do keep learning. I'm comfortable working with legacy codebases, paying down technical debt, and improving systems incrementally. Whether that's introducing testing, refactoring critical paths or setting up better tooling.
I enjoy pair programming, discussing trade-offs, and presenting solutions to both stakeholders and engineers. I prefer agile and collaborative ways of working, but I'm happy to lead delivery when needed. I've contributed to high level architectural decisions and mentored less experienced developers through my career.
My Approach
While I have strong principles around software design and code quality, I stay open to alternative approaches and best practices. I don't hold a CS degree and I don't pretend to know every framework or API off the top of my head, but I care deeply about engineering.
