I'm an in-house web developer, working for a multi-national manufacturer, originally as a design and photographer, before working my way up to chief web developer and website architect.
I've worked on various sites both consumer facing and internal, often with external integrations to Microsoft teams, Crystal Report, or other internal sites via authenticated APIs.
While I have a good eye for design, I love working on the backend and organising processing pipelines and automated flows with Laravels queues and jobs setup. I'm also very keen on a well tested well organised code base, prefering a domain driven or modular structure to avoid long term problems and keep a project working well as new features or modules are added.
My biggest projects include a large internal platform bringing together content from our public websites, internal ERP, product labels and social media posts so information can be easily montiored and reviewd, as well as a feedback platform that generates QR codes and surveys based on sample orders being printed.
Outside of programing I'm a keen photographer, writer and cartoonist, have developed some personal applications to manage photos and my collection of words, jokes and cartoons I enjoy.
