HI, I am a full stack software developer and have worked for 20 years with PHP, starting with version 4. I found Laravel back in 2017, taking on a Laravel 4 project for a client that wanted it upgrading to Laravel 5.4, and never looked back.

I have worked on many projects, these days mainly using the TALL stack. But I also have experience in creating vanilla blade apps and Inertia with both Vue and React. In recent times I have also done a number of projects built with Filament PHP, some from scratch and others being upgraded from older Laravel applications.

I have been lucky enough to work as a solo dev, in teams and also as the lead dev on various projects. This has included very large applications with complex server setups, custom payment gateways, multi tenancy apps, right down to small applications with very specific functionality. As well as building custom payment solutions, I have also implemented some of the more mainstream payment providers like Stripe, Paddle and GoCardless.

I have been fortunate enough to work across various industries, including, but not limited to, healthcare, financial institutes, education and property rental.

Finally, I am an avid learner, keeping up with advancements in the eco system and more importantly keeping the skills updated and up to speed.
